Emilio Aguinaldo Barong
General Emilio Aguinaldo from Kawit Cavite, was recognised as the Philippines' first president from 1899–1901. He was a Filipino revolutionary, statesman, and military leader. He led Philippine forces first against Spain in the Philippine Revolution (1896–1898), then in the Spanish–American War (1898), and finally against the United States during the Philippine–American War (1899–1901).
This barong is made with white rami linen fabric. Embroidered in Lumban, Laguna, this Barong Tagalog is fit for a Filipino Hero like you and like Emilio Aguinaldo.
Embroidery colors available are white, light brown and grey.
How to care for your BARONG
- Hand wash is the way to go!
- Use mild detergent mixed with water. Soak for a few minutes. Do not scrub or squeeze. Hang and air dry but away from direct heat or sunlight. - Stains? No bleach please.
- Spot cleaning the stained area by dabbing a soft wet cloth. Use a mild detergent in treating stains. Bleaching may cause damage to fabric and embroidery. - Ironing.
- To remove creases, you can either steam iron or dry iron in the lowest temperature setting. You can iron inside out to protect the embroidery designs from getting damaged. - Hand, cover and store
- Hang your TERNO using a clothes hanger. Cover in breathable clothes dust bag and hang in wardobe without crush storing or piling heavier clothing or items on top on in between.
